Viktor Aleksandrovich Dordzhiev, 34, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at Jeanes Hospital on Thursday, May 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family
"Dordzh" as he was fondly known to many, was born and raised in the village of Iki-Burul, Kalmykia. He was a true family man and worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He spent many years working as a State Trooper while living in Russia. Viktor was kind, outgoing and often looked at as a leader. He made friends wherever he went, and his outgoing personality often made him the center of attention. In his free time, Viktor greatly enjoyed watching soccer. Most of all, Viktor cherished spending time with his family, especially his three sons.
Beloved husband of Bairta (nee Egorova) and loving father of Sergei, Aleksandr and Maksim.
Viktor was the cherished son of Aleksandr V. Dordzhiev and Marina V. (nee Amusheva) Dzhakhieiaeva and her husband, Iurii, who raised Viktor as his own son.
He will also be deeply missed by his siblings, Boris Dzhakhieiaev, Victoria Dordzhieva and Dmitri Dordzhiev, and numerous extended family members.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at Hollen Funeral Home, 3160 Grant Avenue, (West of Academy Road) Philadelphia, PA 19114.
