Sean Alexander Tchourumoff, 57, of Feasterville, PA died peacefully on May 6, 2024 at Jefferson Abington Hospital, surrounded by his family. Sean leaves behind a legacy that will not be forgotten. He was the son of Dr. Nime J. Tchourumoff and Ilma Arbakow, was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, cousin, uncle, friend, and a leader in the Kalmyk community. Sean was predeceased by his brother, Norby Arbakow. He will be remembered by his loving wife, Aisa (nee Buluktaeva), by his children, Ayuka and Julia, by his sisters, Elsa and Alene, his stepfather, Saran Arbalow, and by his community as someone who helped our tiny Buddhist temple navigate everything, from requesting tax exempt status to hosting His Holiness, the Dalai Lama.
Sean never gave up his interest in serving our community. He served as Vice President of the Kalmyk-Mongolian Buddhist Temple in Howell, NJ, and worked tirelessly to help our community thrive. Sean had a love of life and learning, spending much of his youth traveling the world. He was loved by everyone he met, and he will be greatly missed.
