Paul A. Deccio, lifelong resident of Philadelphia, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the age of 66.
Paul was extremely handy and was known by many as a "Jack of all trades". He spent his working career as an engineer in the HVAC industry. Over the years he has worked in many of the hospitals and commercial buildings in Philadelphia. At the time of his passing, Paul was the manager and lead engineer of the Museum of the American Revolution. In addition to heating and air conditioning, he was also skilled in plumbing and electrical work. As a hobby, Paul enjoyed woodworking and over the years he proudly made furniture and beautiful keepsake boxes for his family and friends. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed cooking and going out to eat, but his favorite moments were those spent with his granddaughter.
Paul is the dear companion of Michelle Tassey; beloved father of Lauren, Anthony, Angela and the late John Campbell; devoted grandfather of Delaney. Paul is the loving brother of Dolores (Curt) Javic, and Teresa Deccio; cherished uncle of Keith (Kelly) Javic, Elisa (Nick) Colangelo, James Javic, and Tressa Colangelo. Paul will also be deeply missed by his uncle, Joseph Kenny and many cousins and friends.
