Marie K. Taylor (nee Kretzinger), age 80, of Philadelphia, passed away on October 8, 2024.
Marie always liked to make her family feel important. For every special occasion, she would make a customized handmade card to celebrate the accomplishment or achievement. With her talent for arts and crafts, Marie would make homemade bows for each card of gift that she gave. These cards and bows became treasured memories for those that she loved. Together with her Husband Joe, she would take frequent trips to Ocean City, NJ to walk the boardwalk or to Peddlers Village to admire the flowers. These trips were never complete without visiting the shops or stopping to get some good chocolate. Marie loved to garden. She was always mindful of the sun, so she would move around her garden throughout the day to remain in the shade.
Cherished wife of Joseph W. Beloved mother of Joseph (Karen) and Nancy (Matt) March. Devoted grandmother of Matthew, Sean and Julia. Dear sister of the late Ernest Kretzinger and the late John Kretzinger. Also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to offer condolences to her family on Tuesday October 15, 2024 from 9 – 10:15 AM at St. Albert the Great Church, 212 Welsh Rd, Huntingdon Valley.
