Lola Dalantinow

Lola Dalantinow passed away May 28, 2019. Age 96. Lola was better know to most as Bubbie. Lola was a wife, mother of 6, grandmother of 13 and a great-grandmother of 13. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was a devout Buddhist, loved this country, was proud of her Kalmyk heritage and spoke 7 languages. Bubbie was born in Istanbul on February 12, 1923 and lived in Europe, where she married and started a family with Sodman Dalantinow.  After living through the hard times of World War II, the family came to America in 1951.  

Lola touched many lives during her lifetime. She enjoyed traveling, being with friends and family and telling her stories about what she had seen and done. Bubbie was a rare individual who comes but once in a lifetime. She will be missed and always remembered.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 8:00 AM at Hollen Funeral Home, Inc., 3160 Grant Avenue (West of Academy Road), Philadelphia, PA 19114.  

Service to begin promptly at 9:00 AM at the funeral home.

Interment in St. Vladimir's Cemetery, 316 Cassville Road, Jackson Township, NJ 08527.
