David Wiley, age 78, of Philadelphia passed away at the Delaware Valley Veterans Home, surrounded by his loving family on November 20, 2024.
Dave was the guy everyone turned to when they needed someone they could trust. He was very handy, so anytime someone had a project to complete he was the first one to lend a hand. He was a valued confidant to many of his friends and family and was always being asked for advice. Most of all he was everyone’s favorite uncle.
Dave served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. When he returned home he continued to serve his country as a Letter Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. He was a huge car and motorcycle enthusiast. He loved his Harley Davidsons but also liked to drag race cars. Those who knew him said he had the best taste in classic rock and chocolate.
Beloved husband of Patti (nee Bozzi). Loving brother of Marlene (the late Gerald) Nimmo, the late John (Dolly) Wiley, and the late Judy (Joe) Glasgow. Dear brother-in-law of Richard (Kathleen) Bozzi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives, friends and members of the Harley Owners Group “HOG” of Bucks County are invited to his viewing and funeral on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Hollen Funeral Home 3160 Grant Ave. (W. of Academy).
