Brian Snyder Sr., age 59, of Churchville, passed away on July 9, 2025. A devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother, and loyal friend, Brian was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and quiet strength.
Born on May 7, 1966, Brian lived a life centered around family, love, and the simple joys that meant the most to him. He was a true family man who found his greatest happiness in spending time with loved ones. Whether it was a hunting or fishing trip, sharing a great meal, or just being present with his family, Brian embraced life with warmth and sincerity.
Soft-spoken and thoughtful, Brian had a quiet sense of humor and a generous soul. He was the kind of man who would do anything for anyone, always offering help without hesitation or need for recognition.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Colleen Marie Snyder; his daughter Erica Marie; his son Brian Jr.; his brothers Bob, Bill, and Bruce; his sister Denise; his mother-in-law Helene Trexler; and many nieces and nephews who adored him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Snyder Sr. and Mary “Lois” Miles. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Brian’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear. Though he is gone, his spirit and legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to offer condolences to his family on Tuesday July 29, 2025 from 4 - 7 PM at Hollen Funeral Home, 3160 Grant Ave. (west of Academy Rd.). Religious Service 7 PM.
